The difference between Vertical Lathe and ordinary lathe is that its main axis is vertical, which is equivalent to vertical vertical of ordinary lathe. Because its working table is in horizontal position, it is suitable for machining heavy parts with large diameter and short length.
Characteristic
1. The rough surface of the workpiece shall not be directly placed on the worktable, and shall be supported by pad iron or screw top; it is strictly prohibited to use the worktable for other operations, such as hammering to correct the workpiece, welding the workpiece, etc. 2. When the workpiece is aligned, the table can only be inched to rotate and align at low speed, not at high speed. 3. When starting and stopping the worktable, the handle of the worktable can only be pulled by hand, and it is strictly forbidden to use pedals.
4. When the worktable is rotating, it is not allowed to do the lifting of the cross beam and the rapid movement of the tool rest. 5. When moving the crossbeam, loosen the clamping device first, and clamp it immediately after moving. After the crossbeam is lowered each time, it should be raised a little to eliminate the clearance between the lead screw and the nut. 6. It is not allowed to carry out gravity cutting when the ram of the vertical tool rest and the side tool rest is extended for a long time; when the vertical tool rest is used for processing, especially for gravity cutting, the pillars should be lowered as close to the working position as possible.
